It's over

Finally Camerimage ended last Sunday although I got a call on monday becasue the taxi from Camerimage that was supposed to take some of my guests to the airport in Warsaw did not come. After half an hour they ahd a different car and everything was over.As far as the winners of the competitions are concerned: For the European Debut Competition a German movie won (the cave of the yellow dog, it's a very beautiful movie about a mongolian family)and the main competition was won by the Spanish movie "Pan's labyrinth", second prize went to the American "The Illusionist" and third to the Brazilian "house of sand" which I did not watch.
Now my life is back to normal, I am going to eat beetroot casserole in a minute and later go to university to take a quizz. Then I 'll have Polish lessons and tonight I'll write a review of "the cave of the yellow dog" for our organization's homepage since the cinematographer was a very young women....
Yesterday a funny thing happened to me, when I treid buying a package of chewing gum. The man asked me if I wanted one and I replied yes and he opened up the package and sold me an indivugual strip of chewing gum for 10 Euro Cent (of course too much). I didn't know that you could buy one or two chewing gums seperatly.Well, you never stop learning (-:
By the way, today is St. Nikolaus and in Germany you'd find lots of sweets in your boots if you had cleaned them the previous night. Here we also celebrate Nikolaus, but the children get "real" presents as far as I know.
