Celebration, or why are you guys here in Lodz?
Well well well, yesterday was my 21th birthday and I am officially an adult now (what does not give me any advantages, at least not in Germany , maybe it'll be easier now to rent a car but I will definitely be punished now by 'adult' criminal law now). Last sundayI had baked two cakes, one for the children at the shelter and one for my 'coffee and cake' inviation for yesterday. So I went to the shelter and we just painted some pictures and ate cake and then I went to see Camilla and Lisa, we just hang out for a while and then went home to have my little celebration with Julie and ELiza. Jummy jummy "torty' from Lisa and Camilla and some presents (nothing from home has reached me yet...I'll get my presents when I am back in Germany, this way I don't ahve that much luggage).
Since Marian, the Dutch volunteer also had her birthday yesterday, we met later all together at Manufaktura, where there were several bandds playing klezmer during the 'jewish festiwal' . There was also a group called 'Di Grine Kuzine' form Berlin, and I relaly really liked them (--> got their CD) and my sister from berlin knows them as well (-;
Tomorrow night I'll move to another apartment and also Elena from Spain will visit m and help me with moving...
